It is a crazy time in my life, I feel like the days go by so fast and I hardly have time to process anything. I want so much to remember all the little things, the silly phrases the girls say, the artwork they make and their favorite activities. Lately Kaleigh has been more clingy. It's hard to know if it's being 2 1/2 yo or because she is now the middle child. She definitely has her whine on! Maeve is mostly helpful and loves to be a big sister to Teagan but she is developing some serious four year old attitude. I realize now that Teagan is the easiest is many ways. She is contained and as long as I feed her, make sure she has a clean diaper and has something fun to look at, she is content. I have started working a little, seeing 5 private clients and would like to add more since IFH doesn't need me and paying for 3 in daycare doesn't make much sense. Plus, it seems a little overwhelming to get them all out the door for a full day of work and then come home and get them dinner and to bed on time. It won't last forever and I figure once Teagan gets a little bit older I will add more hours. Plus, I feel like this is the time we are the most flexible, no sports, school or other activities that interfere with us being able to take off and visit friends and family. I have to keep it in perspective and remember that I don't need to do everything and that our family priority is friends and family. I'd rather have time to go for a long weekend to Ohio, fly up to Wisconsin the see the grandparents or drive down to Atlanta to visit Annika than make a little extra money.

Mommy to be
Teagan is 3 months!
She's getting more and more into a routine. I was totally surprise a couple of weeks ago when she started sleeping through the night, going down between 8-9 pm and getting up between 7-8 am then sleeping another 1-2 hrs. after feeding, but starting 3 nights ago she is back to waking up 1-2 times a night. Go figure! Maybe she's going through a growth spurt since she really needs to gain some weight (HA). She is all smiles and wakes up with a smile most of the time. She's really easy unless I don't feed her (still doesn't love getting a bottle and gives the bottle holder grief) or if I need to change her. She definitely isn't afraid of letting us know if she needs her diaper changed and two nicknames we have given her are "spit up monster" and "pooping machine", as the pictures demonstrate!
Other things that make her Teagan:
-beginning to really watch TV and will turn on her side and look over her shoulder to view it.
-loves to talk and socialize, especially with Maeve. They have whole conversations.
-reaching and batting at toys
-loves her play gym
-not crazy about the swing
-holds on tight to mommy while nursing
-laughs at peek a boo

Let is Snow!
We got a big snowstorm the other night and lost electricity for about 8 hrs. It was a fun adventure of flashlights and candles for the girls and luckily we didn't get too cold. Maeve and Kaleigh had a great time sledding, building a snowman and climbing all the big snow mounds with her neighbor friends. Teagan missed out on the outside fun but was happy to watch the girls drink their hot cholocate afterward.

Teagan is 2 mos
Teagan is growing fast and getting so aware of her environment. She loves her sisters and tries very hard to talk to them. Besides kicking her legs and holding fingers, her favorite pastime position is looking over some one's shoulder so she gets the best view of the world.
She had her 2 mo check up. She spent most of the visit spitting up bu, she also smiled at the doctor and even cooed at him. She weighs a whopping 13.8 lbs. (95% ile), is 23 1/4 in. long (90%ile) and head circ. is 90 %ile. You should check out her thighs; the are totally kissable!

Happy New Year
I am way behind in posting. I guess that's what happens when you have a baby. Plus we have been blessed with having tons of help in town and traveling to visit family for the past 2 months. Time has flown by. I hope to add more pictures and videos of all our adventures but thought it appropriate to start with a Happy New Year toast.
This is from New Year's Eve. We spent a few days visiting the cousins, had a great time hanging out, going swimming and watching the Packers at BW3's.
Our New Year's celebration was a little early for the kids, around 10 pm, not that they knew the difference. I am also pleased to report that all the adults actually made it to midnight this year!
