Life is beautiful!

Summer fun. I feel so lucky that we have had time to be busy and do so many fun things but still have time to be relaxed and enjoy life. Sometimes I stop and think what a wonderful life I have.

Some of the great things we have done so far this summer.....

Memorial weekend in Door County with Lolo, Papa, Uncle Al, Aunt Teener, Nadia and Tommy. Sugar grandma's visit to our house, Deep Creek with mama's friends and their kiddos, an Ohio visit to grandma's house, almost daily visits to the swimming pool, bike rides for Maeve, playtime with our neighborhood friends, seeing the Herndon Fireworks (Maeve was so excited and asked every ten minutes when we will get to see the fireworks from the moment she woke up), and for mama, beautiful mornings and late evening runs!!!!!

Teagan is 7 mos

Every month, she changes so much and each time I stop and think about it I am so worried I will forget all the extraordinary moments I have with her. These are some of her accomplishments this month:

-she is sitting (at Deep Creek and Ohio she really mastered it) and this is her preferred position at the moment. She will scream to let you know if she falls back.

-she is rolling around and able to get all over the place. For example, in Ohio at the beginning of one dinner she was on one side of the dining room table and by the end of dinner she was at the other and working her way into the kitchen.

-She has a very loud voice. She can squeal louder than anyone else in the family and will do it over us to make sure she has our attention.

-she is taking a bottle!!!! She will drink about 4-5 oz. but still seems to get mad if I'm not there when she wants to go to sleep. We are getting there!

-She loves regular food. She would much rather snack on small pieces of bread or peas then baby food. Pears and peaches seem really sour to her. She makes the silliest face when she takes the first bite. But in general, she doesn't pass up too much food!

-She is sleeping through the night. While at Deep Creek, I decided to start the crying out. She cried forever the first night but only 10 minutes or so the second night. And during the night for the first few nights she would get up and "talk" but not really get overly upset. She was doing great but the last two nights has been waking up at 3 am and crying, go figure.
-She loves fans and will turn her head backwards to watch them.

-She loves her sisters.

-She is still all smiles!

-Her "typical routine" wake b/w 6-7 am (if it's at 5 am, I can feed her and she will go back to sleep until after 7 am. Down for first nap around 9 am with nursing. Up between 10-11 am. Each baby food at 1200. Down for second nap with nursing around 1 pm. Up between 2:30-4 pm. Another nursing and baby food around 5 pm and then down for the night with nursing around 6:30- 7p,. Granted this is a very loose schedule since she has two older sisters who have activities, love the swimming pool and can be very loud =).

-Mosquitoes LOVE her. The poor girl has 4-5 bites on her face.

-She loves tags but doesn't show a lot of interest in "taggie" blankets or toys. I don't get it.
